National Doctors Day, History of Doctors Day

Doctors are like gods to their patients, especially in this challenging time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Every year on 1 July, we celebrate National Doctor’s Day 2021 globally to thank and acknowledge their invaluable work. On this day we honor them for their dedicated service towards mankind. In India, this day marks the birth and death anniversary of Doctor Bidhan Chandra Roy who was one of the prominent physicians in the nation.
